Joy Vee has had over 20 homes, living in Ukraine, Russia and now back in the UK. All of this travelling has given her a heart for missions, which continued in her work teaching English to refugees and asylum seekers.

Joy now lives in Lincoln with her husband and two teenage children. When she’s not writing or publishing, she works for the Acts Trust.

Joy loves weaving eternal truths into stories and is passionate about empowering families to walk together in their adventures with Jesus.

Joy has a selection books available for 0-5s, 6-9s, 8-12s and Young Adults on our shop page.

Natasha Woodcraft lives in a slightly crumbling farmhouse in Lincolnshire with her husband, 4 sons and a menagerie of animals.

She believes stories have power to communicate deep truth and transform lives. Her published novels, The Wanderer Scorned & The Wanderer Reborn, explore God’s redemptive purposes for messy people by reimagining the tale of Cain & Abel. She’s also working on a series for Young Adults.

Also a songwriter, Natasha peppers her emotional prose with poetry and song. When she’s not writing, you can find her in the veggie garden listening to podcasts, or up a scaffold restoring the roof.

Natasha has a selection of books available on our shop page.

Alex Banwell lives in the beautiful Forest of Dean with her husband. She has known the Lord Jesus as her personal Saviour, Lord, and closest friend since her earliest childhood, and wants to share His love with as many people as possible. She believes we can worship Him in every area of our lives through our varied interests and hobbies, but one of the ways Alex does this is through writing.

Alex is a contemporary fiction author and her novels focus on the life of a boy named Benny who lives with severe epilepsy, and the effect of his disability on his family and friends. Alex has an incredible ability to create characters we can all relate to and gently share Jesus’ love through her stories. She also has a podcast and blog entitled Worship Unlimited ministries.

Alex’s first two novels are being published by Broad Place Publishing in 2025.

Katy Hollamby has loved making dens, collecting shells and closing her eyes on swings, since she was small. Writing stories and drawing is just an elaborate ruse to keep doing these things and call them “research”. It is also an excuse to spend time with small people who know a lot more about the important things in life than she does.

Writing and illustration became a bigger part of Katy’s time when she got stuck at home due to chronic illness. Her children’s stories and illustrations grew out of things she felt God spoke to her and the places they went, even when she couldn’t leave her bed.

Katy is a talented illustrator and her debut Middle Grade novel, The Place of Endless Lights, is being published by Broad Place Publishing in 2025

David Albans loves being creative in all that he does. Playing guitar, going for long runs, watching football, bird-spotting, and eating pastries are some of his main interests.

David Albans’ upcoming book is a practical, prayerful and spiritual guide aimed at all who struggle with worry – whether they have faith or not. He believes that the Bible contains helpful and practical advice on how to overcome worry and shares this in an easily accessible way.

David is from Lincoln and is married to Kathleen who describes him as the least annoying person she knows!

Dave says “Don’t Worry” is being publish by Broad Place Publishing in 2025, with an accompanying course suitable for using in church and outreach settings.
