Partner with Broad Place
Broad Place Publishing is a Christian imprint whose aim is to bring Jesus-centred books to the market. We want to see good-quality books, inspired by the Holy Spirit, brought to life and made available across the world.
The business model for publishers is very narrow. Income is generated from large sales of best-selling books, or from asking the author to spend thousands upfront to cover the publishing and production costs. Broad Place Publishing wants to do things differently.
We believe in the biblical principle that the worker is worth his wages. The worker includes the author and our staff. Each should be compensated fairly for their work. Money doesn’t grow on trees, but we do believe God provides – He will equip what He has called. Accordingly, we expect the author to contribute to our costs, but we do not charge huge, blanket fees upfront.
This means we often have a shortfall in costs. We are looking for people who believe in our vision – of bringing good quality, Jesus-centred, Kingdom building books to market – to support our work and support our authors.
