Natasha Woodcraft – Christian Author of Bible-based Fiction

Natasha Woodcraft lives in a slightly crumbling farmhouse in Lincolnshire, UK, with her family of boys and a menagerie of naughty animals. As a mother of four sons – two now teenagers – she knows firsthand the challenges of raising young people in today’s world, and the power of story to communicate truth that transforms lives.
Natasha holds an honours degree in Theology and is also a songwriter, peppering her emotional prose with poetry and song. Through a period of forced inactivity, sitting at Jesus’ feet and admitting her own weaknesses, she learned what she now weaves into her stories: that our Saviour meets us in our brokenness, that grace is scandalous, and that transformation is rarely tidy.
She believes passionately that stories have power to reach hearts in ways that systematic theology cannot – that fiction can communicate deep truth that engages the imagination and sticks with the reader for a lifetime.
Published Works
As a Christian fiction author, Natasha has published three novels, one novella, and two prayer books, all exploring God’s redemptive purposes for ordinary, messy people. her next series, aimed at teenagers and young adults, is releasing soon, with the first book Awakening the Light.
The Wanderer Series – Biblical fiction based on Genesis 4, following the story of Cain and Abel. These novels explore themes of jealousy, murder, exile, and the possibility of redemption even for those who have fallen furthest. Discover The Wanderer Series
The Stronghold of Enjanan Series – Allegorical fantasy for young adults. These books provide a safe space for teenagers to explore real pressures through characters who must sustain faith in an increasingly corrupt world. Discover The Stronghold of Enjanan
Pray the Bible – These Bible-based prayer journals take a portion of scripture and turn it back into prayer, with space for the reader to do the same. They offer a powerful way of engaging with God’s word. Discover Pray the Bible
Kingdom Publishing
Natasha is one of the directors at Broad Place Publishing, helping craft, edit and release books that serve the Kingdom of God. She is passionate about helping other UK Christian authors create stories that don’t shy away from the messiness of real life – stories where characters struggle, fail, and discover grace in unexpected places.
Whether writing biblical fiction or fantasy worlds, her work consistently points toward the same truth: God’s redemptive love reaches into the darkest places and transforms broken people into vessels of hope.
