by Natasha Woodcraft
Adah lives trapped between the life she longed for and the life she chose. Childless and desperate, she has failed to produce an heir for her once devoted husband, Lamech. As Lamech becomes increasingly unpredictable and domineering, Adah is drawn to legends about the mysterious Wanderer.
When Lamech takes a second wife, Adah’s world shatters – sending her fleeing to her family home. There, a fragile sense of freedom awakens long-buried hopes. But a secret grows within her – a secret that will propel her back into the heart of danger.
With survival a daily struggle, can a legend offer Adah salvation? Or does someone else hold the power to help her dwell in safety?
The Wanderer’s Legacy is the third, epic instalment in The Wanderer series, but it can be read as a standalone story. It explores the tale of Lamech and his two wives from Genesis 4. If you love fresh spins on Bible stories and books that dive deep into the human condition, then when not try The Wanderer’s Legacy?

This is by far my favorite read of the year. Natasha Woodcraft has once again used her beautiful, God given talent for writing to bless readers with this beautiful and engaging story. From first sentence to the last, Woodcraft captures the readers attention. Jumping seamlessly across many years to capture all of Adah’s story, which is full of God’s love, provision, and His divine protection. Though it can definitely be read as a standalone in the “Wanderer series,” you can also see nods throughout the book to the first two books. I love how you can feel all the emotions throughout Adah’s story. The ending definitely nods to a possible 4th book, and I’m hoping that means there’s another coming!

Wow! What do I say, but, ‘wow’! I thoroughly enjoyed Natasha Woodcraft’s ‘The Wanderer’s Legacy’, which tells the fictitious tale of Adah, Tzillah and Lamech. It is based on just a few verses from Scripture, the rest being her God-given, sanctified imagination working out on paper.
Lamech, the descendant of Kayin (Cain), the world’s first murderer, descends further into depravity in his hunt for power using anything and everyone who will help him reach his goals. He marries Adah – the first of his two wives. This is her story: the tale of a completely dysfunctional family most of whom consistently chose to do evil, and God’s infinite love, mercy, care and compassion towards His people.
I loved her vivid imagination and the story – it kept my attention throughout the novel, and I always wanted to know ‘what happens next?’ It also drove home some deep spiritual truths, enabling God to do a deeper work in my heart. That’s one of the hallmarks of a great Christian book, be it fiction or non fiction.
When’s the sequel coming, Natasha Woodcraft? Don’t make us wait for too long, please.

I have read the first one, I have come back for more. I just felt close to God and really spiritually fulfilled reading this, I just loved the fictitious spin but could imagine it and picture it unfolding in another time, it just really hit the spot, hard to put into words how much enjoyed this, it was a genuine page turner. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series. What an awesome and talented writer Natasha is.
