Submissions

We accept submissions of Adult Fiction, Children’s fiction, True Stories and Non-fiction. We are most interested in stories that honour God and the Bible, encourage a living faith, and point people to Jesus (whether directly or indirectly). We believe God wants to transform the Christian fiction market, so we are particularly keen to support fiction writers, but all types of manuscripts will be considered.

Authors who submit must agree with our Statement of Faith.

Our most basic submissions option is to send us:

Our Manuscript Review Service is a high quality, developmental review of your entire manuscript. – Characterisation & pacing.

– Show & tell, dialogue and proportion.

– For non-fiction, the balance of original voice and content.

– Potential marketability.

Secondly, our review service is an opportunity to have someone pray over your manuscript and where God wants to take it. We will feedback on whether it fits our vision and values, i.e. whether it is God-honouring, Faith-building, and of excellent quality.

Many publishers charge upwards of £800 for a Manuscript Review, but our prices range from £150, depending on the length and genre. A typical 60k-80k word manuscript might cost £300.

In addition to the above, we offer these further benefits:

– A personalised action plan to get your manuscript to industry standards, including advice on further editing that might be needed.

– Detailed analysis of publishing options and our recommendations.

– Transparent advice about money and an estimate of publishing costs.

– Discounted access to our Courses or Consultation services if you decide to Self-Publish.

We cannot guarantee that we will publish your work if you take out this service, but we will consider it prayerfully. If you implement our advice, you have a much greater chance of receiving a publishing offer.

Statement of Faith

We believe:

1. The Bible is Holy Spirit inspired in its entirety. It is God’s living Word and the truth we live by.

2. God is loving and good, but also holy and just, and sin separates mankind from God.

3. Jesus is the Son of God. He was born of the Holy Spirit and lived on earth to reveal the Father to mankind. His atoning death and bodily resurrection are the means by which we can be reconciled to God forever. Faith in Jesus is the only way to have eternal life.

4. The Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of all who follow Jesus. He is our guide and our inspiration, and we can learn to hear His voice. His gifts, authority and power enable us to speak about and demonstrate His Kingdom on earth.
